2009 Annual Meeting

Each year in accordance with the bylaws of Girl Scouts of Citrus Council, Inc., the council holds an annual meeting.  This meeting is held within four months of the close of fiscal year, which runs from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30.

The 53rd annual meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Jan. 31, 2009, at First Baptist Church of Umatilla in Umatilla.  Citrus Council delegates will consider some important actions, and reports will be heard from Board Chair Jessica Parker, Treasurer Nora Bagby and CEO Pam Lennox.  Also, the older girls who attended the 2008 Girl Scouts of the USA National Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., will give presentations.  Finally, the membership will elect new officers and members-at large to the board of directors.

In the afternoon Citrus Council will recognize our outstanding volunteers at the annual adult recognitions ceremony.  This exciting program will begin at 1 p.m.

Registration is required for both events.  The invitation and registration form for both events and map are now online. Registration deadline is Jan. 20.
