Camporee Director and TeamTraining

Are you interested in finding out what it takes to run a camporee?  Well then come on down to Mah-Kah-Wee Program Center for a day of planning, learning and having fun with your camporee leadership team. Your leadership team will be required to attend this course in order to be prepared to plan and direct a Service Unit Camporee. Your
team consists of anyone who would be overseeing a committee or any key areas (logistics, food, activities etc...) This year we are asking for the team to attend. It is imperative that everyone is on the same page due to the amount of work and planning that goes into a camporee. Training topics include risk management, event planning basics, food safety, camp emergency procedures, a tour and more. Participants will receive a certificate of completion.

Fee: $20.00 per person (Includes all training materials, Food Safety Certification, coffee, drinks and Lunch)

Date: August 14, 2010
8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
