Campers and their families are invited to attend one or both of the camp open houses. Camp staff will be available to answer questions and families may take tours of the facility. Visitors please dress casually and wear comfortable closed-toed shoes. This is a walking tour. See you there!
Mah-Kah-Wee Program Center:
Located near Chuluota, on 250 acres of woodlands, only about 20 miles from Orlando. The camp has a large dining hall. For overnight accommodations include – air-conditioned cabins that sleep eight girls each, platform tents that sleep four girls each. Other things at camp include: our NEW creative cottage (arts and crafts building), environmental center, high and low ropes course, and an infirmary. Some of the activities available at Mah-Kah-Wee include: archery for Juniors and above, canoeing, funoeing for Brownies, fishing, hiking, geocaching, mailbox trails and all the traditional camp activities like games, songs, campfires, and time to just relax and enjoy themselves.
Riverpoint Program Center:
Located on Merritt Island, between the Banana River and Sykes Creek, Riverpoint is home to our 111 year old lodge. Riverpoint is 24 acres of pristine property nestled in a beautiful neighborhood but yet – it’s well hidden in the woods and totally surrounded by nature. Once you’re inside the gated property – you only see outdoor beauty. Overnight accommodations are the girls sleep in the lodge, which has dormitory style rooms sleeping with cots or bunks. Three to seven girls can sleep in a room. There is also kitchen, dining room, resource library, shower facilities, a main hall and two beautiful porches. Some of the activities available at Riverpoint are: archery for Juniors and above, fishing, sailing for fifth graders and above, canoeing also for fifth graders and above, mailbox trail, hiking, nature watching including dolphins and manatees, along with many traditional camp activities like arts and crafts, games, songs, campfires, and time to just relax and enjoy themselves.
