GIFTs for Girls
GIFT stands for Giving Investments For Tomorrow, and that’s exactly what you can do today! By making a donation to the GIFTs For Girls Fund at Girl Scouts of Citrus Council, you are giving the gift of opportunity to a girl who otherwise might not be able to participate.
Because of your GIFT:
• A girl will be able to discover many wondrous new things about herself and the world around her.
• A girl will learn to take action; to try, even to fail, but not to let that stop her from trying again.
• A girl will experience the sweet taste of success of a victory earned.
• A girl will gain more self-confidence and will be able to live up to her full potential.
Did you know it costs approximately $250 per girl to ensure that each and every young woman in our Council has the right programs, leaders, and facilities? The funds raised during this giving campaign will allow Girl Scouts of Citrus Council to provide excellent programs, such as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math), important self-esteem workshops and mentorships for girls in juvenile justice centers, while instilling the importance of community service. More importantly, these funds provide scholarships so every girl, everywhere, can participate. A minimum $25 donation earns your Girl Scout the above patch or a year strip.
