Why Take Training?

Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) and Girl Scouts of Citrus Council (GSCC) believe that trained adults are key to the success of the Girl Scout movement.

GSCC requires that all adults who hold a position in Girl Scouting must take the training course called for in her/his position description.  Training sessions are presented and facilitated by volunteers.  They are scheduled at accessible sites throughout the council geographic area. 

Areas of training include:  Girl Scout Leadership Training, Safety Training, Outdoor Training and Enrichment training.
