Board Members-at-Large 

Scott Girard -- Celebration, Osceola County
A certified landscape contractor, Girard has four decades of experience in the design and management of major landscape projects around the world. A California native, he has spent 34 years with the Walt Disney Company, serving with the Walt Disney ‘Imagineering’ team as Head of Landscape Architecture & Horticulture worldwide, and later as General Manager of Operations for Disney’s Horticulture at the Walt Disney World Resort. Girard has traveled widely across South America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, and has lived and worked for an extended period of time in Japan.  Currently, he is the vice president of Brad Smith Smith Associates and president of LandEconics, Inc.


Dr. Scott Hamblin -- Orlando, Orange County
As a pediatrician, it his professional and personal goal and desire to ensure all children receive the tools they need to succeed and lead healthy lives. He believes in the Girl Scout mission and wants to help build girls of courage, confidence and character so they can grow to be the leaders of our community. For all most 100 years, Girl Scouts has lead the way for all girls to experience unique programs, leadership skills and more. He would like to make an effort to continue this initiative. Dr. Scott has been involved as a volunteer on our special event fund raising events in which he enjoyed assisting in raising money for the girls and their programs.
 

Dr. Rahim Jones -- Winter Park, Orange County
Rahim is the Principal at Aloma Elementary. Currently he directs, oversees and assesses faculty/staff of 60 people and 495 students, while maintaining a $3.2 million dollar school-based budget. Prior to becoming a principal, he was an assistant principal for 3 years and taught various elementary grades for 5 years while earning his Doctorate and Master's of Education from the University of South Florida. Rahim has served on the Board of Directors and looks forward to continuing his services.

 
Fred Kosiewski -- Winter Park, Orange County
Fred Kosiewski is currently Manager of Entertainment Operations at Walt Disney World. He holds an Associates of Arts from Valencia Community College, a BA and MBA degree from Rollins. He has a background in administration, operations management, entertainment, evaluation and planning, human resources and performance appraisal processes. As his wife has been a troop leader and his daughter has been a girl scout in Citrus Council for 15 years, he is familiar with on-going desires of our membership body, and for the past three years Fred has served as a member of the Nominating Committee of Board of Directors at GSCC. Fred states “my goal in joining the governing body is to assist with the continued success of the organization that has meant so much to my family over the last 15 years.

Lillian Moon -- Chuluota, Seminole County
Lillian Chaves Moon is an attorney in the Orlando office of Jackson Lewis LLP. Ms. Moon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995 and her Juris Doctor degree in 2000 from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Ms. Moon devotes the majority of her practice to employment litigation, defending employers in federal and state courts, as well as before the EEOC and other administrative agencies. She also provides clients with day-to-day advice and counseling regarding employer policies and various workplace law issues as they arise. In addition, prior to practicing in Florida, Ms. Moon served as an appellate attorney for the United States Department of Labor in Washington, D.C., representing the Secretary of Labor in federal appellate courts in cases brought pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Ms. Moon is a member of the Florida Bar, the U.S. Supreme Court Bar, the Federal Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, and the First Central Florida Inn of Court. In addition, Ms. Moon serves on the Advisory Board of LDS Family Services. Ms. Moon resides in Chuluota, Florida with her husband Samuel and their yorkie, Lexi.

 
Nyda Bittmann-Neville -- Orlando, Orange County
Nyda is the CEO and founder of TNB Consulting Group, Inc. a global organization specializing in innovative marketing, communications, and impact solutions; all to enhance image and brand. Nyda is an executive coach, professional speaker, certified corporate trainer, and an author in Becoming a Professional Woman and On Stage! Image, Etiquette, Branding and Style. She is the host of The Magnolia, a show that is dedicated to women, image and brand.   Nyda has been a member of the Board of Directors for Girl Scouts of Citrus Council for the past year. 
 


January Realista --  Orlando, Orange County

January is the Financial & Operational Compliance Manager at Express Scripts, Inc. She is orginally from Cebu City, Philippines, where her mother—to this day—still enjoys recounting the tales of her own experience and service with the Girl Scouts as a little girl in the Philippines. January’s goals for volunteering with the Girl Scouts are 1) to help drive the implementation of the program Change Your World Leadership Journey, and 2) to assist in establishing the Girl Scout brand as contemporary. January is serving Girl Scouts because, given the destructive messages often conveyed by mainstream entertainment towards women, I support organizations that provide opportunities for young women to develop qualities, like leadership, social responsibility, and self-respect.

Christina Frederick-Recascino, Ph.D. -- Ormond Beach, Volusia County
Christina is the Director of Web Technology at Embry-Riddle University. As a female leader, she believes that volunteering for an organization that helps girls is important, even today. We still do not have enough women leaders for our daughters to watch and emulate. If in some small way she can provide guidance to the Girl Scout organization and have an impact on young women’s’ lives, this will be one way Christina can help better her region.

Dr. Lora Shehi -- DeLeon Springs, Volusia County
Lora J. Shehi, MD, is a pathologist with Halifax Pathology Associates, PA, in Daytona Beach. She has worked at Halifax Medical Center for 20 years and is currently the Medical Director of the laboratory. Lora is a graduate of Kansas State University and the University of Kansas School of Medicine, and completed a Fellowship at the University of Florida. She has four children. Emily is a lifetime Girl Scout member and Gold Award recipient who attends the University of Central Florida. Sam is a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps and has been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. Kaitlin is a former Girl Scout, now a student at Daytona State College. Zoe is in Kindergarten and is excited to be a new Daisy. As a former Girl Scout herself, Lora is dedicated to making this experience available to all girls. 

Nicole Hession -- Orlando, Orange County
Rollins College, Crummer MBA (non-voting student position)
Nicole is a currently attending Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College to obtain her MBA. She is planning to concentrate in Finance and to pursue a career in Corporate Finance. Some of the activities that Nicole has been involved in at Rollins College include serving as a student liaison for over 100 student organizations and a resident assistant. In her free time, Nicole enjoys traveling; this past summer she spent five weeks backpacking through Europe. Nicole is extremely excited to be the student representative on the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council Board. As a former Girl Scout, Nicole is looking forward to serving the Girl Scouts by providing a fresh perspective as a young adult entering the business world.
