Board Officers

Chair: Nora Bagby -- Orlando, Orange County
Nora E. Bagby is Financial Advisor, Senior Vice President with Wachovia Securities in Orlando. She is dedicated to helping her clients meet their financial goals. Nora’s scope of service extends to all aspects of investment planning – from risk management and capital preservation to estate building and wealth transfer. Nora earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of South Florida and was a Private Financial Advisor with SunTrust for 18 years. When not assisting clients, Nora serves as an active community member. Currently she volunteers for the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council as board member and Treasurer. Nora lives in Orlando with her husband and three children. 

1st Vice Chair: James E. Bina -- Orlando, Orange County
James E. Bina, CHAE, CHTP, President of Millennium Technology Group, a subsidiary company of Rosen Hotels & Resorts, became a Member at Large of the Board of Directors for Girl Scouts of Citrus Council, in December 2005, filling a vacancy in an unexpired term. His past volunteer experience includes Hope and Help of Central Florida and the American Cancer Society. Jim holds an A.S. Degree in Accounting and Computer Science. He holds the title of a Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP), Certified Hospitality Account Executive (CHAE), and was past President of the International Association of Hospitality Accountants – Mid Florida Chapter and also past President of the Suncoast Chapter. He states “I have always had an on-going commitment to serve the local community. In addition, I feel strongly about assisting young people find their own place in the community.”
 

2nd Vice Chair: Karol Young -- Apopka, Orange County
Karol Young is a High School Art Teacher with Orange County Public Schools. She was elected in 2003 to fill an unexpired term on the Board of Directors of Citrus Council and also serves on the council’s Long Range Property Committee; she was a former School Coordinator and a Troop Leader. She is also a member of the Orange County Art Educators Association, member of the West Orange High School’s P.T.S.A. and a member of the National Art Educators Association.
 

Secretary: “d” Orr -- Cocoa Beach, Brevard County
Deborah G. Orr is the Director, Supply, Storage and Distribution, Logistics and Material, and the Logistics Process Owner with United Space Alliance. She is located at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, but has personnel in Florida, Texas and California within her organization. Orr received her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University, Tallahassee and her Masters of Business Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Florida. She received her Certified Manager’s designation through the Institute for Certified Professional Managers, the James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Virginia. Currently serving on the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council Board of Directors, Orr is actively involved in community civic functions. She has participated in the Community Caring Day sponsored by the local United Way, as well as previously participating in the American Cancer Society's annual Relay for Life fundraiser and walk.

Treasurer: Catalina Carrion -- Orlando, Orange County
Catalina is an Owner/Director of realFlorida.biz responsible for business planning, establishing and executing corporate and banking structure, internal controls, business strategies, product development, and to indentify revenue streams. Responsibilities consist of directing business goals, objectives and agreements.  For Catalina, it will be an honor to serve as a Girl Scout board member; she would like to contribute her talent and time to an organization that helps develop our future young leaders. She would like to help Girl Scouts of Citrus Council promote its mission, vision and goal of mentoring young ladies to become independent, self sufficient and responsible citizens in our community.
