Adult Opportunities

Adult with girls photoThere are many different ways adults can get involved with Girl Scouts of Citrus Council.  They can volunteer in a leadership position with girls, hold a position on the service unit service team, be facilitators, help with summer camp or serve on the board of directors.  These are only a few of the endless opportunities.

Citrus Council offers many training sessions from basic leadership training to first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.  There are "fun" workshops as well, such as RSVP Weekend, that are offered throughout the year.  All of these trainings and workshops are listed in Journey Into Leadership.  To research these opportunities for yourself or your troop, click on the link in the previous sentence or return to the Home page and click on the Council Calendar at the top of the page.

Citrus Council also has provided many of the forms that volunteers use throughout the year on its web site.  These forms are PDF files and volunteers need to have Adobe Reader on their computers in order to download them.  To download this free software, go to www.adobe.com.  For a complete list of Citrus Council forms, click on the Resources tab at the top of the page or on the left side.
